The U-EPIC stakeholder engagement model seeks to:

  • Engage with community stakeholders to understand and address their research-based needs,
  • Increase community involvement and collaboration within the research design and process, and
  • Develop lasting relationships with community stakeholders and build trust in science.

U-EPIC is committed to integrative research approaches which can effectively combine knowledge from multiple scientific fields with locally generated knowledge to produce science-based, community-trusted technology.
